Thinking about selling your Blackstone home?
We're Paula and Tara Sullivan, a mother-daughter real estate team who calls Blackstone home. We'll help you make sense of the local market, decide what's worth doing before you list (and what isn't), and create a selling strategy that works for you.
"This house is just getting to be too much for us."
"We're not ready to sell just yet, but we're starting to think about it."
"Do we really need to redo the kitchen before we list?"
"We'd move tomorrow if we could figure out how to buy and sell at the same time."
"We need to sell my mother's house, and none of us live nearby."
You don't need to have it all figured out before you call us. Most people we talk to are just starting to think about it.

"We don't need all this space anymore."
We'll help you decide where to go next, what you'll walk away with, and how to sort through decades of belongings.

"We need another bedroom."
Buying and selling at once is about order and timing. We'll map out which comes first and keep both sides moving.

"We don't even know where to begin."
It's more than a house. We bring in estate-sale and cleanout help, and handle the local details if you live out of state.
Buying instead? Especially if it's your first home, we'll explain every step, at your pace, and never make you feel silly for asking.
Let's talk about buying
We're a mother and daughter who sell homes together. Paula grew up next door in Woonsocket and has lived in Blackstone since 1990. Tara grew up right here in town. We're licensed in both Massachusetts and Rhode Island, so a move across the state line is familiar ground.
When you work with us, you work with the two of us, not a big team you get passed around. We're easy to talk to, down-to-earth, and serious about helping you make the right decisions.
Paula is also the author of Marry the House, Date the Rate, a book for first-time homebuyers.
Getting a home ready to sell can feel like a lot. The good news? You don't have to figure it all out yourself. From estate sale professionals and cleanout crews to handymen and contractors, we've built relationships with local people who can help you get things done.
Sometimes the hardest part is just knowing who to call.
Not every house needs a new kitchen before it sells. We'll tell you where a little paint, a repair or some decluttering will make a real difference, and where you're better off saving your money.
Sometimes our advice is simply: "Don't spend the money. Leave that alone."
Why you're thinking about selling, where you hope to go, your timing, and anything that worries you. Not a sales pitch.
We research your home and your part of town before we visit.
We look at its strengths, its updates and anything that could affect the sale.
What's worth doing before you list, and what isn't.
We show you the recent sales behind our number, then a plan for photos, marketing, timing and showings.
We're not there to corner you into signing before we leave. When you're comfortable, we get your home ready for the market.
"The best part of what we do is getting to know the people behind the homes."
Quiet, scenic and unpretentious, Blackstone has a relaxed, small-town feel, with country roads, historic character and Rhode Island just next door. We'd love to show you around.

Some of our best conversations happen six months or a year before someone lists. Tell us a little about your situation and we'll get back to you.
